A Descriptive Grammar of the Koraga language of Kasargod”, is written by Dr. P.N. Ravindran and assisted by C.G.Syama, in the year 1987. The unpublished book gives the details about the the phonology, nouns and verbs of Koraga language of Kasargod. The author even managed to give the adjectives, adverbs,clitics, and kinship terms of Koraga Language.

The Koragas of Kasargod is one among the primitive tribal communities in Kerala. According to 1971 census Koraga population was 724. Here in this book the main concern is to prepare a descriptive grammar of Koraga language. This book refers to the findings of Dr, D. N. Sankara Bhat made in his book “The Koraga Language”.

ഡോ. പി. എൻ. രവീന്ദ്രൻ 1987 ൽ കാസർഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ കൊറഗ വിഭാഗത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഷയുടെ വ്യാകരണം വിവരണാത്മകമായി എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ഗവേഷണ പഠനത്തിൽ സഹകരിച്ചത് ശ്രീ. സി.ജി. ശ്യാമയാണ്. പുസ്തകത്തിൽ കൊറഗ ഭാഷയിലെ വ്യാകരണം വളരെ വിശദമായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇതിൽ സ്വരാക്ഷരങ്ങൾ, വ്യഞ്ജനാക്ഷരങ്ങൾ, നാമം, നാമവിശേഷണം, ക്രിയാരൂപം എന്നീ വിഷയങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് വിവരിക്കുന്നു. കൂടാതെ സെൻസസ്സ് വിവരങ്ങൾ, ബന്ധുത്വപദങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചും ഈ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ വിവരിക്കുന്നു. ഡോ. സി. എൻ. ശങ്കരഭട്ടിന്‍റെ കണ്ടെത്തലുകളും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കാത്ത ഈ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ പ്രതിപാദിക്കുന്നു.
