This is an unpublished work, written by Dr. P.N. Ravindran and assistant by C.G. Syama, in the year 1989. It is mainly confirmed to the language of Kurumbas and hence a detailed discussion on their ethnological aspects is not expected. Here the author mainly concentrates upon the phonology, defective verbs, adjectives, adverbs appellatives and clitics. This work also includes kinship terms and vocabulary from the Kurumba Language.
എ ഡിസ്ക്രിപ്റ്റീവ് ഗ്രാമർ ഓഫ് ദി കുറുംബ ലാംഗ്വേജ്
1989 ൽ ഡോ. വി. എൻ. രവീന്ദ്രൻ, ഒപ്പം അട്ടപ്പാടി സി.ജി. ശ്യാമ എന്നിവരാണ് അട്ടപ്പാടിയിലെ കുറുംബഭാഷയുടെ വ്യാകരണം തയ്യാറാക്കിയത്. പുസ്തകത്തിൽ പ്രധാനമായും കുറുംബ വിഭാഗത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഷയും വ്യാകരണവുമാണ് പ്രതിപാദിക്കുന്നത്. ഗ്രന്ഥകർത്താക്കൾ പ്രധാനമായും ശ്രദ്ധതിരിക്കുന്നത് ശബ്ദശാസ്ത്രം, നാമം, ക്രിയ, ക്രിയാവിശേഷണം, നാമവിശേഷണം എന്നിവയിലേക്കാണ്. കൂടാതെ ബന്ധുത്വപദങ്ങൾ കുറുംബഭാഷയുടെ ശബ്ദസഞ്ചയം, പദസഞ്ചയം എന്നിവയും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
