The event brought together dignitaries, faculty, research staff, and institutional administrative members. The program commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. Indu V. Menon(Lecturer, KIRTADS). The official function was presided over by Dr. S. Bindu (Director, KIRTADS). The event was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. Saidhalavi C. To mark the occasion creatively and align with the core vision of KIRTADS, a unique language competition was organized exclusively for the KIRTADS staff. The participants were challenged to recall and write down the maximum number of words from various tribal languages, fostering both a spirit of healthy competition and an engagement with indigenous linguistic heritages.
The Reading Day celebration successfully concluded, reinforcing the importance of literature, critical thinking, and the preservation of tribal languages within the academic and administrative ecosystem of KIRTADS.
